Patcharin’s Story
1940
Born in Chiang Mai to parents Fongkaew Promathet and Inet Singhanet.
Happy childhood with cousins at the family compound of their grandfather, Intha Singhanet.
Attended elementary school at Dara Academy.
Rollerskated around Chiang Mai.
1950
Father died, Mother went to work/live in another district.Â
Mom went to live with Uncle Chinda Singhanet.
Attended secondary and high school (boarding) at Dara Academy where she developed lifelong competitiveness in ping pong.
Scholarship to study Education, minor in English, at Chulalongkorn University.
Lived at Student Christian Center in Bangkok, where she met my dad.

Had two kids and moved around USA (Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania)

Patcharin is preceded in death by her parents: Inet and Fongkaew Singhanet, one brother: Sutiporn Singhanet, and two sisters: Yaowapa Ritkansila and Patara Singhanet, her husband: Prasit Tannirat, and one grandson, Djivan Escandon. She loved God, jigsaw puzzles, baking cakes, playing rummy, reading literature and watching historical dramas.Â
Patcharin is survived by her brother, Ravee Singhanet, her two daughters, Alisa and Darlene Tannirat, and her three grandchildren, Augustino Escandon, Audrey and Dean Tannirat.
